Today’s required reading for all Internet users: World of Ends. This morning, when everybody got in, they received a string of messages that that volume was almost full. So, naturally, everybody and their mother called me before checking with each other. It wouldn’t have been so bad if [...] [...] Another big server crash. Same flaw on the same system – the code snippet was in the Webmail interface, so Webmail has been disabled until further notice. I’ve already had a few gripes, and already told them what they can do to accelerate the fix process (STFU, for one). So I’m downloading patches on that [...] [...] It rained last night, then got cold, so this morning there was a sheet of ice on EVERYTHING. Lots of fun until you have to scrape your windshield. I am so ready for spring. I spent the afternoon trying to figure out why my beloved mail server crashed for the first time since we migrated [...] [...] |
