The tandoori was a hit! Next time, though, I’m adding more chilis and black pepper, grinding up the chilis better, and smooshing the ginger up more. And I forgot to remove the skin before marinating, so the skins soaked up much of the flavor and caught fire on the grill. By pulling the skin off to save the chicken I sacrificed a bunch of flavor. So next time I go with boneless/skinless chicken breasts. And maybe for then I’ll learn how to make poori or chappati, or find a place which sells them, instead of just cranking out rice.

R* came over last night and we watched Cowboy Bebop in the original Japanese – much better than the dubbed version shown in the theaters here – while eating the greatest dessert ever. Good times.

Work is unusually slow right now. I just know that something is wrong, that computers are bursting into flames or annihilating small villages or something and that people just aren’t telling me.
