Have you patched your system yet? Hmm?

It’s a valid question, ya know.

Here’s an interesting analysis of Linux vs. Windows in terms of choice vs. usability.

My friend, the lovely authoress Kristie, pointed me towards this transcript of the anonymously published pamphlet Queers Read This, which was distributed at NYC Pride 1990. Note the radically different perspective we’ve gained in the past 13 years of The Struggle.

And a thought-provoking piece about how the author thinks the Internet is dying. OK, so he has a few points, most of which deal with the static nature of cruft, but I think he’s being a bit alarmist about the whole nature of background noise on the public ‘net.

This weekend my youngest brother will be crashing at my place while my parents go to Oklahoma City (cleaning out my grandmother’s house), my older brother goes to Kansas City with his GF, and my younger brother goes noplace fast in his dorm room in Cape Girardieu. We’ll be hitting the Japanese Festival at some point, most likely with R*, but otherwise my only plans are to rebuild my only Windows box while he reads and/or watches The Two Towers (which Ed is scoring tonight).

More details later, maybe tonight if I have any energy left after the flick.
