Japanese Emoticons
Yes, I have a strange fascination with the Japanese approach to emoticons (smilies, facemarks, etc.). Here are two exhaustive references: the one-byte character version, and the two-byte character version. (Please note – many of the cooler ones on the second page are impossible without using actual Japanese characters, so they’re represented on there with images.)
