Distributed electicity generation gets the nod from The Economist

First, let me just say that I don’t know why I’m reading so many articles from The Economist.

Now that I’m through my disclaimer, here’s an interesting piece from said mag discussing the future of the power grid. The short version: a decentralized grid is more fault-tolerant and potentially less polluting. Regular readers may remember my musings on this concept from last summer, roundabout the time of the blackout in the Northeastern U.S., Ontario, and Quebec.
