May Monkey!
This month’s monkey: “describe a time when you were ‘out of character’”.
This one’s easy-peasy. My answer: those years I spent “in the closet“.
In case that answer doesn’t count, I’ll also add the first year or so I worked full time, when I made a very conscious effort to act “grown up”. I was only 20.5 and fresh out of college (some might say underripe) when I started, and the transition from school to work… well, let’s just call it awkward.
