Barack Obama & the National Review

The National Review has a reaction piece to Barack Obama’s speech posted online that’s worth a good look. You can also read the speech text from Obama’s campaign site.

For those of you who missed it Tuesday night: Barack Obama, the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate from Illinois who’s pretty much a shoo-in by now, gave one hell of a speech the other night at the Democratic National Convention. Seriously. He blew the lid off the place. Boy’s going places.

And now the NRO is trying to stifle their praise. Heh. Losers. Just say it: Barack Obama is something else, and if the Republicans don’t know it yet then they will learn very quickly.

Carl points us to this slacktivist post on why many otherwise-literalist Christians feel free to neglect kosher. Check the linkage, too; it’s quite good.
