- I was originally going to post the Salon.com iteration of Dan Savage’s response to Gov. McGreevey’s resignation, but R* points me to the Guardian’s reprint that doesn’t require a “day pass”.
- but then again, R* also wants to join the Apostrophe Protection Society. I’d much rather “join” the “Quotation Mark” “Conservation” “Guild”, but to “each” his “own”.
- There’s now a blog devoted to the King of Soups, pho. Rock. Eventually I’ll get around to posting reviews of STL-area pho joints, but in the meantime you can read up on the history of pho. (For the record, the word “pho” is allegedly pronounced somewhere between “fur?” and “fuh?”.) There’s also a recipe at the bottom that I need to try sometime.
- Been tinkering with a new, masochistic distro, but I have yet to get as far as a GUI. More on that later.
