System Administrator Appreciation Day is TODAY, July 29 2005! It’s like Administrative Assistants’ Appreciation Day (fka Secretary’s Day) only SO much cooler.
Just admit it. You know you love system administrators. They get you online to satiate your porn fixation; they make sure your stupid e-mail forwards get to all 67321 recipients; they clear the viruses and spyware and Trojan horses off your computer. It’s now time to show a little gratitude to these heroes among men.
and it’s not like I put it on the freakin’ company-wide calendar or anything. *sigh*
UPDATE: shortly after initially posting this, we received a basket of big decorated cookies. mmm, cookies. so one small subset of users has been absolved.
