The lovely Meeegan points us to Double-Tongued Word Wrester Dictionary, a collection of newly-coined words and phrases. There is gold in that treasury, my friends. I’m still digging, but my favorite so far is “dance of the lemons” (the shuffling of ineffective teachers from school to school).

Harriet is gone, but there’s a better nominee out there

Now that Harriet Miers is no longer on the block for a spot on the SCOTUS bench, Jamie’s Trick a Kiss in Time (a blog I’ve recently started reading, but thoroughly enjoy) has a better suggestion for a nominee. Makes perfect sense to me. She’d have to give up that kickin’ house of theirs, though.
