I just cannot stop refreshing that damned stats page.
So it looks like the English Wikipedia will have its millionth article posted today.
In the meantime, I just can’t stop going back to Special:Statistics and hitting “refresh”.

UPDATE: the millionth article was created at 23:09 UTC 1 March 2006. Looks like it’s Aaron Ledesma, though there’s still a bit of haggling over specifics.
FURTHER UPDATE: OK, I was wrong, Aaron Ledesma was #1,000,003. Jordanhill railway station, about a train station in suburban Glasgow, was the millionth article.
