Moved a few things around
Just briefly, as I’m supposed to be working on a paper: I moved a couple things around. Most notable is the blogroll, which now gets its own page (but the saddest part is that I do actually read or skim all of those!), but there have been a few minor changes to the sidebar contents.
Also, for those of you who would like to be informed when I’ve posted updates, I currently offer twothree solutions:
- Check back every single day.
- RSS. There’s a link in the upper-right of this page (and every page on this here blog) to the RSS feed for all blog entries. Many newer browsers come with feedreaders built-in, but there are many other options for reading RSS feeds.
- Follow the jumpyjumpy Twitter feed. You’ll see a tweet within an hour of an update to the RSS feed.
I’ve been thinking about an e-mail notification thingy, but update notices would likely get lost amid the spam, and then there’s the issue of recipient address management.
(now that I think about it, I should probably wait a bit to work on this paper; the guys working on the place next door are being ridiculously LOUD and DISTRACTING with their tools, their high-volume cursing, and the occasional sounds of breaking glass [ouch].)
update: the backhoe work continued until nightfall, by which time i was in no mood to write a paper. Also, the Twitterfeed is new.
