Because I LOVE new words…

The lovely Meeegan points us to Double-Tongued Word Wrester Dictionary, a collection of newly-coined words and phrases. There is gold in that treasury, my friends. I’m still digging, but my favorite so far is “dance of the lemons” (the shuffling of ineffective teachers from school to school).

Today, I learned that “estilo Detroit”, or “Detroit-style”, is Spanish slang for anal intercourse, by play on the word “detrás” (meaning “behind”). Wikipedia has the details.
